Travis Johnson was born in Owensboro, Kentucky and raised in Horse Branch, Kentucky. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He is a 2015 graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, where he was a 2013 Bettman Moot Court Participant. Mr. Johnson began practicing law immediately after graduation in various counties throughout western Kentucky.
Mr. Johnson has been with Jackson-Dowell PLLC, Attorneys At Law since 2014, beginning as a summer intern while attending law school and eventually being hired on as an Associate Attorney upon passing the Kentucky Bar Exam.
Mr. Johnson practices throughout western Kentucky, and currently has offices in both Hartford, Kentucky and Owensboro, Kentucky. He is admitted to practice in the Kentucky Bar where he is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, KBA Young Lawyers Division, and Ohio County Bar Association. Mr. Johnson also serves on the Board of Directors for both the Ohio County Chamber of Commerce and the Ohio County Law Library. Mr. Johnson concentrates in criminal law, domestic law, and various areas of civil litigation such as personal injury law and medical malpractice law.
